Lia Woo served as Director of Curriculum at It’s All About Kids for five years, starting IAAK’s blog in 2009.  Lia’s passion for teaching, learning, and technology fuels her quest to be “in the know”.  As she peruses journals, blogs, and other resources she shares information and best practices with the hope that the knowledge helps and inspires others.  Lia has a Masters degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from Stanford University’s School of Education and has worked within a variety of educational environments, ranging from an afterschool tutoring center to schools (K-12 and higher education) to private educational consulting companies. Born and raised in Hawaii, Lia continues to push innovation in Hawaii’s schools.

Amy Callahan, former Professional Development Specialist and Education Program Consultant for It’s All About Kids, has 15 years experience working as an educator, including seven years as a classroom teacher in California, Texas, and Hawaii. As the first educator of her two young children, she is vested and committed to early childhood education and advocating parent and community engagement in education. Callahan holds a BS in Social Studies from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo and is a certified Promethean trainer.

Kris Schwengel currently teaches 4th grade at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has 16 years of experience in the classroom and enjoys exploring ways in which to integrate technology into his teaching. Kris holds a BA in Anthropology from UCLA and a Masters in Education from Pepperdine University.
