From the EdWeek Digital Education blog, I learned of a google spreadsheet that presents a searchable list of TED talks. (Side note: Kathleen Manzo, author of the blog, learned of this spreadsheet from @AngelaMaiers on Twitter – a perfect example of the power of these technologies!) For those of you that don’t know, TED talks are great – inspirational, stimulating, entertaining, and powerful. Their tag line says it all – “Ideas worth spreading.” There are a couple talks by Nicholas Negroponto talking about the One Laptop per Child (in 2006 and 2008). There’s also an entertaining one about blogs… and the list continues. Beware, before you know it hours will have passed – you’ll be so consumed in the talks.
